Shovelop (“we”, “us”) builds digital systems — websites, web and mobile applications, SaaS platforms, AI products, AI agents, automation and cloud infrastructure. This policy explains what information we collect when you use shovelop.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

The short version: we collect only what you send us directly (typically your name, email address and message through the contact form), we use it only to respond to you, and we never sell it to anyone.

Contact form submissions. When you send a message through our contact section, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. This is delivered to our team mailbox so we can reply to you.

Technical essentials. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages securely and to protect against abuse. This data is transient and is not used to build a profile of you.

Local preferences. The site may store small bits of data in your browser’s local storage to remember interface preferences, such as reduced-motion settings. This never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use third-party analytics on this site.

We use the information you send us for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, continue the conversation, and — if we end up working together — deliver the services you asked for.

Where a conversation turns into a project, we may use your contact details to share proposals, invoices and project updates. We will not add you to marketing lists, and we do not send newsletters unless you explicitly ask for them.

We process contact-form data on the basis of your consent (you chose to send it) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete your details.

We share your information only with the service providers that strictly need it to operate: our email delivery provider (Resend) transmits contact-form messages to our mailbox, and our hosting provider serves the website. Both are bound by their own data-processing agreements.

We never sell, rent or trade personal data. We disclose information to third parties only where legally required (for example, a valid court order).

Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are periodically deleted — typically within 24 months of the last exchange.

If you ask us to delete your information earlier, we will do so within 30 days (except where we must retain records for legal, tax or contractual obligations).

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA and the UK), you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact section of this site or reply to any email thread you already have with us. We will verify your request and respond within the applicable statutory timeframe. If you are unhappy with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We apply the same engineering discipline to our own infrastructure that we apply to client systems: encrypted transport (HTTPS), access limited to the people who need it, and secrets stored in environment configuration rather than code.

No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we design our systems so that the impact of any incident is minimal, because we hold so little personal data in the first place.

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations evolve. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page for a reasonable period.
